A Trip In The Mountains- Hatta

It’s a lazy weekend, and suddenly I don’t feel like wasting it in the city. On a whim, I type places to see around Dubai and I stumble across Hatta.

Hatta is an inland Exclave of Dubai, UAE, located in the Hajjar Mountains and was gifted to the Ruler of Dubai by The Sultan of Oman in the late 19th Century. Its climate is much cooler than that of Dubai and it provides an escape from the fast paced city.

I love the fact that it’s landscape is so rugged. The place boasts of Rock Pools, narrow windy canyons of smooth rock with pools of blue-green water, a beautiful sight.

I am in my comfy clothes, away from the city and in the company of beautiful mountains. Its the best place to go for some peace and to be one with nature.
